Organizational Excellence Assessment Print E-mail

Visionary and new leaders want to know the capacity and health of their organization. They want objective and expert feedback on how they compare to "best practices." They want confidence that they are positioned for growth and continuous improvement.

Specifically, they ask themselves:

  • Do we have "delighted clients" (with the outcome and the experience)?
  • Do we retain our "all stars" and high potential employees?
  • Do our employees bring their energy, commitment, and "whole self" to work?
  • Do we have the leadership and capacity to grow and achieve excellence?
  • Are our behavioral/social norms providing us the desired culture?
  • What is our organization's reputation (in the eyes of customers and employees)?
  • Are we a "High Performance Organization"?

What You Get

A two-day set of interviews, document reviews, and observations to assess organizational health and capacity, define strengths and weaknesses, and recommend next steps.

Why

To provide organizational leaders with a snapshot of how their organization compares to a proven framework of Organizational Excellence. With that, they can have a management approach/template to consider using, choose if they want to commit to the journey, and take the preparatory steps to position themselves for it.

How

  • PBI and Client agree to terms
  • PBI conducts up to 10 individual interviews with a representative sample of employees and managers
  • PBI reviews key strategic and policy documents (what the organization says it will do)
  • PBI observes up to 2 staff/other meetings
  • PBI provides a report (not to exceed 5 pages) describing the best practices, issues of concern, and recommendations
  • PBI provides a low-tech presentation/discussion (not to exceed 2 hours) on the findings
  • This process can be completed in 3 weeks if availability/schedules work

Cost

$3,900.00 plus reimbursement for expenses for any travel outside the DC/Baltimore metro area.

Pledge

We pledge client delight (very happy with the outcome; very happy with the experience) in this endeavor – meaning that PBI will redo any task or deliverable that the client is not pleased with and will do it at our cost.
